SMS Terms & Consent
Last updated June 24, 2026
The program
Double Fault (“we,” “us”) sends text-message notifications to players who choose to receive them. These are transactional alerts about your own tennis sessions on Double Fault. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
How you opt in
Opt-in is explicit and entirely your choice. In your account profile you enter your mobile number and turn on the “Text me match alerts” toggle. The toggle is off by default and is never pre-selected. We send texts only after you enable it, and only to the number you provide. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using Double Fault.
The toggle displays this consent language: “By turning this on, you agree to receive recurring automated texts from Double Fault about your sessions — invites, confirmed times, cancellations, and reminders. Message frequency varies; message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELPfor help.”

What we send
You may receive texts for time-sensitive events in your sessions, such as:
- An invitation to a session
- Someone picking a proposed time, confirming the session is on
- A session being cancelled
- A reminder shortly before a session starts
Message frequency
Frequency varies based on your activity — you only receive texts tied to sessions you are part of. Many weeks you may receive none.
Cost
Double Fault does not charge for text messages, but message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opting out
Reply STOPto any message to stop all texts immediately. You can also turn the “Text me match alerts” toggle off in your profile at any time. To resume, reply START or re-enable the toggle.
